Ans Some Ques About Ram?

Guys,i have some question about ram.Motherboard Gigabyte b75d3v.
Here is the questions:
1.What if i use 16 GB ram of different brands such as A-Data 4 GB ddr3 1333mhz,Corsair 4GB ddr3 1600mhz,Transcend 8GB ddr3 1333mhz will it hamper my gaming time??
2.What if they have different cas lantency???also different mhz or same mhz but different latency????

Hi. To avoid problems, always use matched pairs of ram. What you have described is a disaster looking for a place to happen.

The guys are right that what you're describing is a disaster, but not necessarily because the RAM is mismatched. With some minor tuning, you would most likely be able to get the system to run just fine with that setup. However, depending on how you install the RAM, it may not run in dual channel mode, witch will effectively halve your memory bus width. It's not like you'll have half the memory performance, but the system will definitely suffer because of it. On the other hand, the motherboard may be able to set up the two 4GB sticks with the 8GB stick to run in dual channel. It's worth experimenting...
