Hi there, I recently upgraded my Dell Dimension 4700 from Windows XP to Windows 7 but now there's no sound, for some reason it says "no audio device installed" so I try to install the audio driver from the Dell website but it's not supported on Windows 7, so could someone please help.
Thanks,

@gamersim17
Installing Recent OSs In Old Machines Can Be Tricky In The Driver Department.
I Heard Some Drivers For VISTA Work With W7.
Is It True ?
I Do Not Know.
What OSs Are Available On Your Machine Maker Site ?
If You Have The Time Try Them All, You Have Nothing To Lose.
If It Does Not Work, Download The Program 'SLIMDRIVERS FREE' From The 'VERSIONTRACKER/DOWNLOAD/CNET' Site And Give It A Try.
Good Luck.

Thanks, I will definitely be sure to try that software, since I've tried all kinds of other software but they all want you to pay so thanks for the help.
