Folders Converted To .exe's

*NEED HELP PLEASE*
actually sorry to disturb...can anyone help me...the VIRUS has converted my FOLDERS to .exe and the files inside the FOLDERS are not opening(working)
...
please help me sort out my problem...Will be very thankful to you...

However, we'll need more information to help you. Could you please answer a few questions:

1) Could you please describe in more detail what's going on? What exactly happens when you try to open a folder or launch a file? (And if you can't open a folder, how do you access a file?)

2) Does this problem happen in safe mode?

3) What antivirus program are you running?

4) How long has this problem been going on?

5) Does a message appear on your screen telling you that you need to download some program to fix the problem?

6) Are your files backed up.
