If you'll read your companies own review of the product you will find that AdAware does in fact support Vista. Your site and writers have done everythinhg imaginable to steer people away from Vista. You are either uniformed or worse. There is only one reason I can think of that would cause a reporter to knowingly post erroneous information.

I remember my times of using Ad-Aware.. but have since faded away in the passing of time.
Malware detection? That's a PLUS! The later versions didn't have this.

Although I have used Lavasoft's AdAware in the past as a redundant antispyware app, I have since dropped it. I am now using Webroot Spysweeper as my primary anti pyware app and SUPERantispyware as my redundant app. I find this to be a good combo. I am currently using Avast for my AV. All are free, which also suits my budget. Lavasoft's free apps did not have realtime protection, but was OK as a redundant antispyware app although rather slow in my opinion. coastie65
