Too late. Already gone from our company's computers, except for two that require the use of Java for its Internet work.

It is certainly too late for them to head off future hack attacks and it will take some time for JAVA to recover the bad reputation surrounding it currently. Regardless, anything being done to improve security is certainly welcomed by me. It's a little tiresome turning it on and off when I need to use it and then don't.
