I recently bought a FX30 from the local swap meet and the person selling it didn't have the charger or data cords for it. My question is...will the battery recharge when the camera is connected to my pc via the usb cable? Also, will the battery recharge if I buy an A/C adapter to plug into the camera? Thanks for your help.

Hi jimiz643. My gut is telling me that this may be a question best answered by Panasonic themselves. If I were to venture a guess, i would say "maybe." I say this because if you connect a device such as an iPod, or any mp3 player, the battery will recharge even if you are not using it. If you have a USB cable and you can SECURELY plug one end of the USB cable into the FX30, then you should be able to charge it. I still feel that you should ask Panansonic directly.
