Hi,Does anyone know if a DELL E207WFP 20 inch Wide screen monitor will play 1080i or 1080p? I was considering getting either an XBOX 360 or an Autumnwave GT USB2 ATSC/NTSC tuner, but I'm not sure if the OTA HD signal can be displayed on the monitor. Thanks in advance!Ronbo

I have a 22 " VisionQuest VQL-22WSHD that is set to 1680 x 1050,it's maximum.Are you sure a 20 " will give you 1680 x 1050 ?Dell's info on this product should inckude this.But I set my games to match if i can.So far smaller sizes like 1024 x 768just don't give you full screen.Just it's maximum.Browsers will adjust and require no horizontal scrolling.I use OEx7.But check out VisionQuest CRT'S,great support on these questions.http://www.visionquestce.com/:DHaveing assumed this is a CRT,does your video card have a DVDI-D with HDCP.This is really what makes it work best. Cable is Usually sold extra.Please don't use a converter,get the real McCoy.DVI-D.

Oldtimer,Yes I am sure the DELL E207WFP does 1680 x 1050. Bu the way, there are numerous other 20inch flat panels that also do that native resolution. My video card is an EVGA NVIDIA 8800GTS/320 MB graphic card. It has two dual linked DVI outputs capable of supporting two 2560 x 1600 displays. Thanks for the reply.Ronbo

Based upon this post from Dell's forum it appears that is should support HD:With a 5-millisecond response time4, the Dell E207WFP widescreen flat-panel monitor is ideal for productivity and gaming applications as well as video and photo editing. If you need or want 1080i or 1080p capability, then it looks like it will not work.

I found a 19" Samsung LCD computer monitor available on Amazon for about $30. I have to admit that it does kind of send off some "what is wrong with this picture" thoughts, but it was only $30 (plus shipping). It has not arrived yet, but I should find out soon if there is something wrong with that picture.And, yes, the pun is intended! :D

I'm not sure of NVIDEA settings options,but the first thing i recommend is tolocate your monitors setting capabilities.Otherwise it will list some you shouldn't use.Look in Desktop propertys/settings..[img:e02afbefca]http://i6.photobucke.../Hidemodes.jpg+
