Windows Install error

On booting up I get the following error message 16 bit MS-DOS Subsystem C:WINDOWSINSTAL~1{F5C2F~l_B44DA!1.EXE. The NTVDM CPU has encountered an illegal instruction. C5:053c IP:01bb OP:ff ff 00 ff 00 Choose 'Close' to terminate the applicatioon Close IgnoreHow do I clear this up??
