Hi everyone, i need advise about setup a fax machine.firstly i have a problem which is fax machine doesn't regonize the ring pattern, (maybe i done something wrong)i have one phone line but it's carry two telephone number, all device run through the filter alreadyi have set to (manual rx) unlucky that is doesn't work, when fax come through i did pick up the phone and then press BLACK on the fax machine. still not working if i press 25 on the telephone. oh well....then i set the receive fax into (network switch) it's WORK!!! suprise me, but only the first couple of fax. thennext day i done nothing wrong or change any setting, during i receiving the fax from outside. the light are flashing (in use/memory) so i let it run automatic, the LCD screen on the fax machine prompt the message recieve-----G3-----receive------G3............and then the fax just stop for no reason. i did not touch any button. fax doesn't come through to my fax machine at all.......situation it was working at first(today).......not working at last(next day)please can anyone here could help me out or advise me please.......much much much thank :)steven

My fax machine has the ability to only answer on a distictive ring. They are done this way to handle the ability to have two (or more) numbers on one line with different rings. If so, then you need to make sure that you have the right ring pattern setup for it to answer (i.e. double ring or triple ring, etc).Beyond that, I am not complete sure that I understand what you have tried and not tried. I don't know what you mean by "network switch".
