zoom out a bit, Eiffel Tower is 5 miles North-East.
they offer teaching in energetics engineering, energy saving, electronics engineering, industrial computers and, guess what, robotics and avionics.

Using Google Earth's ruler tool, I compared the model to the real border dispute area of N India / SW China. The model is at a scale of about 1:500, which means that if you made a scale model of an 8 foot by 4 foot sheet of plywood for it, it would be about 1/5 of an inch by 1/10 of an inch.
Somewhere near Annapolis, MD there was, in the eighties, a scale model of the entire Chesapeake Bay drainage basin. I don't know what scale it was, but as I recall, the Pentagon was about the size of a silver dollar. The model was in a hangar with a roof over it, so, sadly, it is probably not visible from Google Earth.
