Track file change software

Could someone tell me if there is a software program that will track file changes when a program is installed?Thank You

If so, then most security packages will do that if they have more than basic features. ZoneAlarm Pro tells me such things.If you are talking changes to data files, then I am not so sure.

Is there a particular program you are trying to track changes in? Word maybe?

No I was looking for something to track files changed or added by DataPilot. If you install DataPilot and enter your license key everything is swell until you do a system restore. Then your license is no good anymore. It will not work even if reinstalled without a new license. So you can see why I need to know what was installed or changed so it can be manually deleted in order for a reinstall to work.Thanks
