I called Aol to cancel my account. They say that i was using it for 10 NON-STOP DAYS. they try to convince me to stay for .99 a month. they say they have superior security. finally i get them to cancel. What a pain!

lol aol does suck. One time i accidentally charged by bill like 100 bucks and luckily my uncle called saying that i was just a kid and didn't know what i was doing so they canceled the bill lol. But aol does suck, they seem to get spammy and there dial up was like crap. Good thing i switched to dsl.

Lilxkid - all dial up is crap. But in some places there is still no DSL. I do not have DSL available, so I went with Hughesnet Satellite. Its not as good as DSL, but when you live out in the Boonies, it's either Satellite of dial-up.AOL in my humble opinion is as bad as if not worse that Symantec. I'm not referring to the internet function, I'm referring to the way they seem to take over the machine. Many system problems seem tied to either AOL or Symantec and attempts to remove them. I have found a good use for all the AOL CD's that they send out - they make good coasters.

AOL gets hacked all the time. Anything they say about good/great security is really just fabricated.
