I happen to have liked the World of Xeen. There were a few others that were neat, but this one is the first one I really got hooked on. If we are talking about series' I loved the Final Fantasy series of games.

Compared to say episodes 1 and 2, that for all there technological advances in film making... a movie is telling a story, if the story's no good, the graphics arn't going to help you.Kinda like Chrono Trigger, simple 2-d game but it keeps my attention and I really enjoyed it. Compared to say many games made now-a-day's with 8 hour gameplay, nice graphics and nothing to figure out. Psycho- marvel vs capcom games rock

Very fun, but a RAM sucker due to the large number of bitmaps before. But the best part is, you can edit the bitmaps to get custom effects. Eg, the Firzen cannon. I drew loops round the yellow "cylinder", what happens is up to your imagination. You can even download custom mods to add characters and effects. And there is always the classic DOS-based LF1.

How much did it cost for you to build it?I built it last year, about this time, and purchased parts as the went on sale for months , prior to building, ......but at that time with everything included, 22" monitor, G15 keyboard, G5 mouse, Headset, everthing, as I replaced it ALL, was under $1,100.
