Hi pjrgolf1. Please be more specific when you post. Do you mean:- the Outlook window says "Not Responding" when you click on a link within an email?OR- when you click on a link, the Internet Explorer window comes up and says "Not Responding?"Also, can you please tell us your computer's specification:- Operating System- Memory- Version of Internet Explorer you are usingIf you are not sure how to find that, Right Click on "My Computer" and click "Properties." You can find the version of IE by opening Internet Explorer and click on Help and then About Internet Explorer.

Hi pjrgolf1. Please submit new posts when replying and not edits to the original post. This way, anyone who is watching this thread will get notified when a new post arrives.Okay, I have some more questions for you:- How long has this been happening?- How long do you let Outlook show as "Not Responding"- Does it reset itself or do you have to manually end the application?- What security applications do you have?

[quote name='pjrgolf1']If I click on a link 5-6 times , and wait about 1 min., the link will open up.Okay, first thing, you do not have to click the link so many times. That is why your Outlook goes into a not responding mode. It has to catch up with itself.I do not know if you are of driving age, but think of it like a car. When you first turn the key to the ignition you may have to give your car just a small bit of gas. If you give it too much gas you will flood the engine and the car will not start until the excess gas go away. I am not a mechanic but the general principle is the same. For example, let's say I get an email and it has a link in it. If I click the link without having a browser window open, it takes some time before the page will load. Conversely, if I already have a browser window open, the time is considerably reduced. Be patient. Basically, you are causing the program to lag and become non-responsive.I do not think this is a spyware or virus issue. I also do not think this is a memory issue. Yes, if you had more memory, you may not run into this problem; however, the main issues is the fact that your multiple clicks are causing the program to become non-responsive.Now, if you are still concerned, you could run your gambit of security scans to verify your computer is clean.
