I am looking to purchase a smartphone. I do not presently have one and am using an old Palm V and do not have enterprise-push email support from work. I have a host of contacts and calendars spread across my work outlook account, my palm and yahoo accounts (which I exclusively use for personal email). I want to consolidate the contacts and calendar and be able to synch them with the device. Will consolidate contacts calendar either in outlook or in Yahoo depending on what I buy. Planning on using Yahoo to send email to the PDA. Will not be sending much email; will mostly use the device to manage/store contacts and appointments, read email and for voice calls. Camera, keyboard, internet speed all secondary to ease of managing contacts/calendar and quality of voice calls. I do not travel internationally for work, but would like the ability to use the phone abroad.Given these considerations I am trying to decide between Blackberry Pearl (free from AT&T); Treo 750 (windows/At&T - $299); and T-Mobile Dash ($149).Concerned about the ability to synch my calendar/contacts with the Pearl given that I don't have any blackberry enterprise support through my office outlook - also concerned about Pearl's durability. Concerned about bulkiness and battery life of the Treo. I hear good things about the Dash but not sure about the design.Any help would be appreciated.
