There is something i would like to throw at you guys if by any chance you can help. I have vista x64 OS. i cant get my printer to detect the driver. i instaled the latest driver from samsungs website and it still wont work. I am having terrible trouble trying to locate a driver that will work for my samsung ml 2010 laser printer. it will not work with vista. i even went to the samsung website and downloaded there latest driver for vista x64 which is my OS but after a few prompts of going thru the download itgives me an error - printer driver is not compatable with a policy enabled on your computer that blocks NT 4.0 drivers-I also got a second error while trying to download a driver from another site and it told me that cant install 2010 series kernel mode printer driverI even tried to check the control panel for available preloaded printers and their drivers and found a similar model printer and loaded that driver but it didnt detect it.I am going crazy here. what is wrong with this OS? why is it so difficult to deal with? anyone here have a similar experience with this. i can really use some help. i would appreciate it.please reply promptly.thanks.
