HELP!! I am trying to figure out how porn got downloaded my computer.?? I use limewire to download mgp videos, such as soccer, music videos, etc. Also, I use limewire to download mp3 style music. I recently did a windows search to find a lost word document. In the search box i typed in "cookies". To my awful suprise I found a bunch of unopenable porn titiled mpg's along with other normal documents. Could these porn titled mpg's be downloaded to my computer without me actually downloading them? Say if I downloaded a Blink182 song or music video and it was titled blink182 but then after it was a completed download could it be named something with porn title and porn nature? Or is it possible that a downloaded music video could have a hidden porn titled attched with it? I am really confused how these got on my computer and really would like to know if it was something I downloaded without knowing. Hope what i am trying to ask makes sense. Thanks

A lot of times, files are disguised to look like something popular, but are actually porn or worse -- viruses and malware. The best thing to do is not to use file sharing services like that and to get your music through legal, legitimate means.

take my advice. When i downladed limewire i thought if i ran some anti virus scan here and there i wouldnt have any problems, right?pppppppppllllllllllllllleezzzzzzzzzzzzzz i was totally stupid to think that.when i had limewire i got free music and about 10000 viruses a day.my computer wouldnt shut down, it ran slow, and i used it for mostly running spyware doctor.but as soon as i un-installed it my computer ran at the speed of lightso do yourself a favor and ditch the limewire program. instead spent the $10-15 a monthg for another subscription
