{size:18px}[/size]:D Hi all : The link provided for one of the best, namely Rootkit Unhooker, is INCORRECT; a "1" was left out and should be : http://rkunhooker1.narod.ru . The Primary Author of this program also is an Expert Advisor on the very good Wilders Security Forums.

8) Hello to All!I thought that I should ask, within this topic (instead of creating a new one), if there is a rootkit program now available for Vista owners. The list I saw did not mention if one was Vista ready at this time. Likely not, I presume.Anyway, like many other owners of Vista, I presume, I am still searching or waiting to hear that one is now available for our OS.Thanks,Raymond070748

:D Thanks, again, SpiritWind for providing some helpful info on this inquiry of mine, as you did for the other one!You should know that I've been doing just that, searching here and there and everywhere for a rootkit program to work with Vista. But there hasn't been anything available as of yet. I just thought that the list mentioned in this thread or post might have had one for the Vista OS. I can see now that that is not so.I'll continue my search, though, but I presume that it will be a long wait for a rootkit program to be Vista ready or compatible with Windows Defender taking that role exclusively or monopolistically. I've noticed this about the Vista OS, not to my liking. But I am stuck with it for now.Sincerely,Raymond070748
