Is there a way to have a "sandbox'' for me to play in, lol. I mean, I don't want to drive people here nuts with all the questions I could ask. (ie how did AuroraManson center, and Spike "elongate" her post, to fit the burning hardrive picture, and how does lilxkid24 put those 3 banners in his boxes) link .Where I could see what it would look like in a post, or is that what Preview is for?. Does Preview show you exactly what yor post will look like?(as I pasted a picture as big as "the burning harddrive", but it took up the whole box). Would it have "configured" itself when I included my typed post? This is the kind of stuff I would like to see, and what happens, without it being on a "real" thread

lol, so you'll put up with all my questions:) Spike, maybe "elongated" was the wrong word, ie implying distortion. I guess what I ment, was that when you typed under Auroras picture, the "box" keeps expanding to allow your message. How do people add the little banners, does it have to come directly from a Web site? ie copy and paste; and can you do that (copy) from your, My Pictures, and paste it to a forum post? Thanks for responding so quickly.

The post box will expand automatically to accommodate images. I assume that whoever posted the image used the img tag. You can do this by using the Img button just above the box where you compose your posts. All I ask is that the image conform to our community standards and not be so wide that it pushes the forum content under the ad on the right. The bar images that you are referring to are placed in the signature. To change your signature, click "Profile", which is just under the red bar at the top of every forums page. You cannot upload images here, you must use a third party site like Flickr or Photobucket. Then, you just right click on it and select "Copy Image Location" (that's what it is in Firefox, your browser may vary) and use that URL with the Img tag.
