I'm looking for all in one security software any recommendations. I'm currently looking at Kapersky and ZoneAlarm they look good to me but then again I'm a novice, I would try some of these progarms recommmended here (ZoneAlarm,AVG,Ad-Aware,Spybot S&D ETC! but it seems Like it's going to nothing but headaces for me making everything work together.

2 good choices :) I myself would tend towards Kaspersky. I'm not sure if it would be less hands on cp. to ZoneAlarm and it's firewall. You can download a free trial of Kaspersky ,and give it a spin to see what you think. Also, Googling the Forums for the 2 your interested in, might give you an idea of what others experiences are.Heres some users feedback: ZoneAlarm Kaspersky Yet, Kaspersky now has version 7 out.P.S. CALIFAS18, I too, am a novice, so take my posts as thoughts, and observations, and not as "gospel". :)

{size:18px}[/size]:D Hi all : The "Security Suite" Approach to security results in a "Jack-of-all-Trades, maybe the master of 1 component" , where the "Layered" Approach results in a very good program in EACH Malware-fighting category . Rarely there is a problem using the Layered Approach because of using ONLY 1 antiVIRUS, 1 antiSPYWARE/antiTROJAN, and 1 firewall program providing "real-time" protection" . IF & when a "conflict" arises, just go to the Support Forum of one of the programs and ask about a possible solution . I have ONLY FREE programs on my Win XP computer providing security, though I admit I had an excellent Start by an Expert on the Lavasoft Ad-Aware Support Forums provide an excellent Guide at http://rcip.com/mitc...dieUpdated.html .
