I recently got a new computer and I now am working with Vista. The Quick Launch Icons that are on the Task Bar are so small. (They were bigger on my XP machine.) Is there a way to make them larger, even if I need a "tweak" utility? (If so, which one?) Thanks!

According to the Toshiba website, that model has a 13.3" screen, and you are running the same resolution that I am running on a 15.4", but the 15.4" screen is 34% larger than yours, hence the icons are naturally larger. I know of no way to adjust the size of the icons in the task bar other than to adjust the total screen resolution.

There is NOT in XP, but you can get such a "magnifier" as part of the XP Powertools. I know that the Mac OS has that function built-in as an "Accessibility" feature. Something like that might be a potential solution.

Thanks, everyone, for the replies. I was hoping that there was a "tweak" that would allow me to make them larger permanently, without changing any other settings. Oh well.

Right click on the desktop and select Personalize from the context menu
Select Window Color and Appearance
Click Open classic appearance properties for more color options
Click Advanced
in the Item Dropdown, select Caption Buttons
Adjust the value in the Size property.
Click Okay.
Click Apply.
Wait for the setting to take place.
Some of the icons may seem pixelated (blurry) at first. restart the respective applications (or your computer) and they should crisp up.
