Hi Hope I am in the right place for assistance. I have recently had a lot of problems with Norton. Now when I open outlook I get the following message:Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. Account: 'pop.supanet.com', Server: 'pop.supanet.com', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCC0FThe connection hasnt in fact terminated. Just before I was getting this message my emails were coming in duplicated. I have switched off incoming and outgoing scanning on Norton. Please help!thanksJane

{size:18px}[/size]:D Hi Jane : Perhaps you should seriously consider "replacing" Norton !? There are many programs, some of them better and possibly FREE , available; however, to make proper recommendations, we would need to know the SPECIFIC Name of your Operating System and the amount of RAM !?

JaneCan you log into your ISP's web mail, and if so, do you have any problems accessing your email there? Also, do you have more than one email account (a second email address) with the same ISP? Check your firewall to make sure that Outlook isn't being blocked.
