Hey, sorry for the random topic here, I realize what I am about to say has nothing to do with the relation to this thread, but I see everybody has their AVATARS back. How did you do it?

Go to Your Stuff, then Profile, and click Change Avatar (it's on the right under Actions).

You can choose from one of the existing avatars or upload your own. The upload blank is at the bottom of that page.

of course! all you are missing is glasses. But since your wizard doesn't have a face, I guess we can excuse that.

My ladybug doesn't have spots, which I think is like a zebra without stripes. Oh well.

Lol. At least you and lilxid got your pictures back.
I tried geting my world of warcraft picture back on but it was too blurry. I'm not a gimp or adobe photoshop person so if I were to try and resize it or do any kind of editing to make it more seeable, I would have become frustrated.. Not necessarily my kind of expertise. I can live with new changes. I like my wizard avatar though :-)

Yeh, I uploaded a cropped and resized picture of one of my former Dobe's. She liked to crawl up in my lap, tuck her nose under my arm and go to sleep. A 70lb dog in you lap is a lapful. Thankfully, my current Dobe doesn't want to do that. He weighs 140lbs! Unfortunately a picture that looks nice when it 2"x2" looks awfully dark when it 1/2"x1/2".

I'll have to cast about for something that stands out. I see that Smax has revised his can of spam back to his shocked happy face.

I dunno...I am still debating which I like better. To some degree, the SPAM can fits my warped sense of humor better...but I cannot help but like the little bugged eyed fella! :D I have to say that I did like the emoticons on the old system MUCH better. They has a little more "flare" in my opinion! B-)

Yeah. I can't change the size of the avatars in this community. Even if I could make them bigger, that would probably break a few display templates.

I don't know. Those that are using small concise images are fine. Those of us that uploaded pictures come off the worst. We just need to find something that is concise and noticable.

Colorful and simple works best.

Yeah...my upscaled little bugged fella is nicer looking with the smaller Avatar than under the older system! ;-)

Hi Kellie. Not to completely change subjects but I noticed a couple of things:

- The option to use Rich Text, Plain Text, and Preview are gone. ( - )

- The Discussion links on the Main Community Page are highlighted if one has not reviewed it since the last post. ( + )

I liked having the option to Preview what I was going to post before it was public. Granted, I know it's a matter of a few keystrokes if I caught an error after the fact but I did like having that feature.

Definite plus for adding the highlight feature. :-) That will alleviate a lot of the "What was the last Discussion I read?" problem. :D

It is still there...but it does kind of come and go. There have been few times where only the Plain Text shows up and refreshing the page does not change it. But, the vast majority of the time, the other options are there. I am typing in Rich Text right now.
