I have owned a Sony Handycam DCR-DVD105 for nine months. After finalizing a non Sony DVDRW disc, the disc cover will not open after using the open switch. The message on the screen says "possibility of problem with disc". The operating guide discusses it on page 131 but does not tell how to manually get the disc cover to open. The unit worked fine until I finalized the disk. When the open switch is pressed there are two tones, one mid range, then another higher. A moment later there are two lower range tones with a red flashing light where it says "access". There is no way that I see to manually open it. It is not jammed, it's like the camera doesn't like the disc and will not function! I e-mailed Sony and they all they said was to push the reset button and if that didn't work it will need service that starts at $129. Great warranty!

I'd appreciate any help.
