We are going to need more info to possibly help you . First off, what is the SPECIFIC Name of your Operating System, usually either Win 2000, Win XP SP1,
Win XP SP2 or one of the "new" Vista's ? 2nd : have you ever "disabled" your Windows "Messenger Service" ? 3rd : specifically, WHAT does it say in the
Body of the "Message" ? 4th : do you have a PopUp Stopping program on your computer, like the FREE Panicware PopUp Stopper from http://www.panicware...uct_psfree.html ?
Since you MAY have a serious "malware infection", what are the Names of the security program(s) on your computer ?

We realize that people who request help do NOT know what SPECIFIC Info we may need to help them,
so there is no need to be sorry on what you initially posted. It would be helpful IF we knew the
SPECIFIC "Service Pack" which is with your Win XP Operating System, which usually has either a
"Service Pack 1" or "Service Pack 2", which is yours ?
You MAY have a "rogue/suspect" antiSPYWARE/antiTROJAN program trying to install that your
SpySweeper program has failed to detect; to cover this possibility, I recommend you use the FREE
"RogueRemover" program that is available at http://www.malwareby...ogueremover.php .

Since you have Win XP SP2, your "Windows Messenger Service" should automatically be "disabled";
at this point, I recommend you ask an experienced, trained, certified, Vounteer Malware-fighting Expert,
and since you have SpySweeper, I recommend you post a Request for help on THEIR Support Forums
at http://www.castlecop...Spysweeper.html .

- When you see the pop up message, hold down the "Shift" key and hit the "Prt Scr" key. This key is normally located right above the "Insert" key.
- Open Microsoft Paint. To get to this application, click Start -> Accessories -> Paint
- When the application opens, click Edit -> Paste
- Once the screen shot is pasted into the application, click File -> Save
- Save the file to your Desktop
- Open a browser window and go to Photobucket.com
- If you do not already have an account, create an account (it's free)
- Log into your account
- The next screen will give you the option to upload the screen shot into Photobucket's database
- Click on "Browse" and then when the standard Save window comes up, click on the Desktop icon on the left side of the window
- Select the file you just saved and click "Open"
- Once you have added the file, click "Upload"
Once the upload is complete, you will be given an url address. Copy that address and then paste that address into this forum.

- Were you trying to access a pop-up window when this Windows Installer came up?
- What is the message at the bottom of the screen?
- Does this message come up any other time?
- Does this come up if you try to use another browser?

- Did you recently reinstall Windows?
- Do you happen to have your Windows XP CD?
If so, the next time that window pops up, insert the CD and see what happens. I am starting to think that you may not have a completely installed Operating System.

However, look at the task bar, from the screen shot, and look at all the .............stuff, running,............ the language bar, a miriad of start up programs, and several open windows, so locating the culprit, may take a lot of work, and may require using the msconfig tool to sutdown all the extraneous BS, to get to the problem.

The website window that was openned in your screenshot appears to use Flash for the live updates of the ball games. It could be either Flash or a Flash update trying to install.
