I tried to see the ADOBE Reader and it's gone. Is this a free service or does it cost?
If it cost, do u have to down load it? I'm weary of down loading things on the comp.

Okay, unfortunately, you are still not providing enough information for anyone to provide you with a viable answer. First, I have renamed your Discussion so other can chime in with their suggestions.
Now, I have some questions for you:
- Do you know what version of Adobe Acrobat Reader you had (have)?
- The link I provided to you would give you the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader, did your current version match the version listed within that link?
- Did you check the Add/Remove utility to make sure that you still have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer?
- Do you remember the last time you were able to view a .pdf document?
- Do you remember making any system changes around that timeframe?

Hi Salty. I am not sure if you are reading through all of the posts. Okay, since your computer does not have Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Reader, you will not be able to view any .pdf files. You need to install at least the Adobe Reader.
Now, in my first post, I provided you with a link that would enable you to download Adobe Reader. If you do not want to purchase the Adobe Acrobat, please click on the link below to download Adobe Reader
http://www.adobe.com.../readstep2.html
If you do want to purchase the full version of Adobe Acrobat, please click on the link below which will take you directly to Adobe's website.

:D Hi Salty :
Assuming you do NOT have either "Adobe Reader" or "Adobe Acrobat" listed in the "Add or Remove
Programs" Section of your computer, and many have been recommending a "better" alternative,
namely "Foxit Reader", which has one-tenth the download size of Adobe Reader. You can read about
this product at www.foxitsoftware.com/pdf/rd_intro.php ; however, to get the FREE version it
would be wise to download it from [http://filehippo.com/download_foxit/] .
