terryshaw09 - well we all learned something, I did not think it was possible to download the complete installation of Vista. Of course for me it isn't as I am on satellite and they restrict the volume of the download. I'm glad it's has been resolved.
I second MPH's comment about ordering the backup disc unless you saved the file somewhere, and even then you would have to create a boot DVD to reinstall. As to the COA, by all means protect it well. I have a password protected excell file where I keep all my internet sign-ons and passwords, and also the serial numbers to the downloaded programs (in case I need to reinstall them). I also have the COA's for my various installations of Windows and MS Office. I have several backups of it also. Protect that COA because you never know when you may need it again.
