According to what you already posted, you have a 250 MB SATA hard drive. That should hold an awful lot of games. Music and video is what really eats up space. If you feel you need more and you want speed for gaming, an internal drive is the solution. External drives are generally just for storage and backup.

Keep in mind that I'm not a professional, just a hobbyist. There is usually more than one opinion.

Go to www23.tomshardware.com/graphics_2007.html?modelx=33&model1=859&model2=858&chart=277 and checkout the performance of various video cards for Battlefield 2143 at 1280x1024x32 resolution. You will see that the HD2600XT doesn't do very well compared to others. Unless you really want to be DirectX 10 ready, the ATI 1950 series is a lot better than the 2600. If I had to have DirectX 10 capability, then I'd go with a GeForce 8600GTS.

Ill check out the site you gave me. To reply to your other post, music is what is really eating my computer but since this is not my computer, I can not to anything about it. Well...ill see what I can find a good price for the ATI 1950 series and look for some decent GeForce 8600 GTS. The reasons I ask for your opinions is that you seem to know a lot more than I do and no one seem to be answering my post like you. Well...ill look around for some good graphics card. Thank you for your help.

You're welcome. I'm also kind of suprised about the lack of replies from others. Of course this is not as much of a gaming community as some other forums, but maybe a better place to go when your needs are modest and not into overclocking.

To me...overclocking seems a bit bad for your computer...I mean pushing the limits I guess you can say for your hardwares. The only good thing I could get out of it is that it makes things faster but maybe come with the price of destroying your PC, maybe. But oh well..just my opinion. Anyways...ill probaly invest in buying a GeForce 8600 series and definitely buy more RAM for my computer. The processor...maybe...depending on what kind of feedback I get from my friend. Thank you again.

It does cut short of the lifespan but its worth it if you know 100% what your doing. It can turn your computer into an awesome system, but one error can be fatal lol, and warranty gets broken too
