Hey Everyone! I don't think this one has been asked as of yet. For my part I listen to Classical right up to Classic rock. Recently my daughters have made me listen to some of their's,must admit I liked most of it.Especialy the new singer songwritters like, Colbie Caillat, Feist, John Mayer, James Blunt, Ben Lee, Rascal Flatts, Roz Bell, Abby Dobson, Copeland, Angels and Airwaves, so what would be your favorite tunes.

Hi Flashorn. Good topic. Well, as my avatar shows, I am multi-cultural. That being said, I listen to just about everything, except country. I like everything from Alternative to Classical. I really do not have a favorite group or singer; however, to give you all an idea as to what I have in my collection, here is a breakdown:

- Alternative: 3 Doors Down, Alanis Morissette, Avril Lavigne, Dave Matthews, LCD Soundsystem

- Rock: Audioslave, Crossfade, Creed, Drowning Pool, Default, Disturbed

- Club: Denzel, Armin van Buuren, iio, Lasgo, Punk Division

- Fast Soul: Ashanti, Amel Larrieux, Fatty Koo, Eric Benet, Floetry

- Hip-Hop: 50 Cent, Angie Martinez, Bun-B, Disturbing the Peace, Guerilla Black

- R&B: Adina Howard, Amerie, Aaliyah, Ms. Dynamite, R. Kelly

- Reggae: Akon, Beenie Man, Bob Marley, Buju Banton, Papa San

I have well over two months of music. This means that if I let my music play 24 hours a day, I would not hear the same track for two months.... :D So I have plenty of music from which to choose.

LOL Well, I was born in the mid 70s so that was not an option. However, people have been sampling and reproducing his music for decades. He will always live on through his music and his children.

I generally like everything except country and heavy metal.

My favorites are: Barenaked Ladies, Indigo Girls, Guster, Matt Nathanson -- and I have lots of other random stuff that I listen to.

Hey Kellie! Nice to hear from you. I guess we all love music whatever your taste but, is there ONE that keeps coming back. Mine is Jethro Tull: Aqualung: being from that era.

My favorite Radio Station is KJZY, they play excellent music. I like lively Jazz, and some Classical. My CD collection is mostly soft, etheric and Zen music that you can use in meditation and specially with groups. It's just a part of what a teach.

My daughter is a dancer and choreographer and I have listened to her Hip Hop and Rap music. I do like some Hip Hop, but I do not like the bad language and negative energy in some of the Rap.

Love Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony, The Gypsy Kings, UB40, Macy Gray, Sting, Kenny G, Paul Simon, (remember Simon and Garfunkel?)... aaah, those were the days. ;-)

Watching Dancing With The Stars, has reminded me of my long lost passion for Latin Rythms. Absolutely luvluvluv :x the Cuban Ritmos, Salsa, the Mambos, Cha Cha Cha, etc. This very moment I'm listening to Afro-Latin Party by Putumayo. :^0 Que Bueno!

I listen to Classical(Ludwig Van Beethoven, Johann Sebastian Bach, etc.) all the time. I like Jazz a lot too, and I especially like techno a good bit.But my favorite music is (of course) from the instrument I play, the Contrabassoon. It's a very very very low woodwind instrument. And I LOVE playing it.

I listen to just about (anything) Most of the known tunes on today's every day radios.
I do not however, listen to Rap or of much R&B for that matter.
I watch a lot of music videos onYouTube as well. It's actually becoming more often than listening to the radio. Michelle Branch FTWPosted Image

You guys wouldn't want me to name all the bands I listen to; however, I will name all the genres I will.

Metal genres first:
* Melodic Death Metal
* Viking Metal
* Folk Metal
* Symphonic Black Metal
* Doom Metal
* Prog Metal
* Brutal Death Metal
* Technical Death Metal
* Heavy Metal
* Hair Metal
* Glam Metal

Rock/Pop:
* J-pop
* J-rock
* Visual Kei
* Classis Rock(Rush, Journey, The Doors, Eagles, Santana, etc)

Other:
* Classical (Mozart, Vivaldi are my favorites)
* Ambient
* Underground Hip-hop (Jedi Mind Tricks)
* Jazz (most types)
Here's my Last.FM http://www.last.fm/u...RxExQxUxIxExM/. Not really much of the other genre on there because I stream those from a radio station or listen to them in the car.
