Hey Number! When I was a LITTLE younger we used to call this kind of music Hard Rock. Just had a listen to them on MySpace. They sorta sound like Led Zepplin, and The Doors and Iron Butterfly and more recently Evanescence. These are GOOD memories" the 70s". I can't say that I have a particular type of music, but tend to find tracks in most Genres that I like and my collection shows it. I only have two albums that I have downloaded and burned, "High Tide and Green Grass" the early hits of the Rolling Stones, and "The Ballad Hits" by Roxette. Everything else runs the gamut.
