It's been years since I listened to music on anything resembling a regular basis. When the trend in pop music headed toward hip-hop and heavy bass, I turned off the radio and haven't returned.

I prefer 70's and early 80's pop, but I'll listen to just about anything from Beatles era through Genesis (w/Collins) era... even disco. :)

For starters, I always liked the sound track to 2001: A Space Odyssy.
All Doo Wop
Roy Orbison
Otis Redding
Percy Sledge
Some Aerosmith
Kenny G
Some Pink
Most of the 60's and 70's Soul
Early Rolling Stones
Enya
Roxette
most R&B
C&W but not a big Bluegrass fan
No Hip Hop or Rap
Do like Reggae
Love Irish Music
Creed
I can't say that I have a particular type of music, but tend to find tracks in most Genres that I like and my collection shows it. I only have two albums that I have downloaded and burned, "High Tide and Green Grass" the early hits of the Rolling Stones, and "The Ballad Hits" by Roxette. Everything else runs the gamut.

I saw All Doo Wop, lol, yes, that is so good, add that to my list. :)

I haven't seen my bands listed by name;

Led Zeppelin
Black Sabbath (Ozzy era)
Jimi Hendrix
Pink Floyd
Chevelle

I find a lot of bands good but these are the main ones.
NO rap. Not much current rock only here and there songs.

Sometimes I break out some Christain rock:
Big Tent Revival, CDs "Open All Nite" & "Amplifier"
WhiteHeart
Third Day
Audio Adreneline, CD "Bloom"
Resurrection Band

Thats cool.

I think Petra's "Not of this world" was their most creative effort.

Yes, I agree, we think alike, esp. the Title track song, and Grave Robber. :)

My favorite "soundtrack" is the one for "Hannah Montana" and two others (the other seasons). As for my favorite album of all? I would recommend Miley Cyrus's "Breakout". "The Time Of Our Lives" by Miley Cyrus (the one Party In The U.S.A is off of) I have only heard bits and pieces of (Those bits and pieces are from the radio), so I'm not really 100% sure. I also have to add "Hannah Montana: The Movie" to the soundtracks list. It certainly has some very good music on it. Miley Cyrus isn't the only singer I like, however. Look on page 4. The only post by me on that page states the others.
Best regards,

That would be Detroit's country station. Depending on where you are in the Detroit area, you might also be able to get 102.9, which is W4 Country out of Ann Arbor (http://www.w4country.com/). And yes, Country is what I mainly listen to, but I also will pick up other stuff as I encounter it.

I personally listen to Radio Disney (1110 AM) and KIIS FM (102.7) more than anything.....

Hey Everyone! I don't think this one has been asked as of yet. For my part I listen to Classical right up to Classic rock. Recently my daughters have made me listen to some of their's,must admit I liked most of it.Especialy the new singer songwritters like, Colbie Caillat, Feist, John Mayer, James Blunt, Ben Lee, Rascal Flatts, Roz Bell, Abby Dobson, Copeland, Angels and Airwaves, so what would be your favorite tunes.

Flashorn.

I can listen to anything except Polka, death Metal,Barney the Dinosaur, and Kids Bop.
