Yeah, Shrek II was on ABC earlier, about the time you stepped out. Little after 8 our time.

I'm watching CSI, it's a rerun. Kind of creepy.

I'm waiting for the new one to start in just a few minutes, where Grissom says goodbye to CSI.

We'll miss you, Grissom. :(

Geese in both engines killed the engines shortly after take off, left engine caught fire too, and it was all about great piloting.

I was reading a CNN article on him http://www.cnn.com/2...ding/index.html

Seems pretty amazing, the guy was a former air force pilot and worked for nasa as a safety consultant. Who better would you want piloting this potential disaster?

Hey Aurora, I put a picture of that thiong over in the weather thread somewhere. Anyway, that was a case of having the right pilot at the right time in that situation. He actually had the presence of mind to put the plane down out of the shipping channel in shallower water as well. I was home ported in New York and there is a very deep shinping channel in the Hudson River as Ocean Going vessels go up river as far as Albany NY, so they have to have a deep channel. I believe he stopped almost directly above the Lincoln Tunnel though, if it was around 42nd St.
