I have windows xp when i start up the computer the in the bottom right there comes up a message there is no anti virus detected.
And then it just shows a red shield with a white cross.
I installed Treatfire anti virus.
and i restarted it after i install it. a run a scan. it said there r no probs.

hi!
the red icon on botom right screen that alerts u of no antivirus installed ,is just a notification from windows security center, it does not mean that ur PC has a virus. U can turn it off by settings of the security center in the control panel.
u may try avast or avg antivirus as they are free and good.
