There was no post that was fully correct. My own workaround came closest, but I can't vote for myself. ;) My idea was crazy, I know, but it worked inasmuch as I am now using PM5 on the new HP. There's one oddity, however. I can't open a PM5 document through PM5 itself, because it doesn't 'see' the My Documents folder, where I have my PM5Docs subdirectory. So, I use Win Explorer to find the doc, and double-click, which loads PM5.

It is always good to find your own workaround. It is even better to know that there are people out there who care enough to try to help you with your problem when your workaround doesn't quite work. :D If you have any other questions, please post.
