Hey there then your printers printer is damaged, is it still under worrenty. But ya for sure its is damaged as the cable works on the other printer so it has to be faulty. Good luck
Not necessarily. It could be the print driver that is causing the problem, not the printer itself. It is possible that the print driver did not install correctly, either do to a problem with the driver installation program or some sort of conflict with something on the computer. Have you tried hooking the printer to a different computer? If you can get it to work with another computer, then that would seem to mean that somehow the printer driver does not install properly on your computer. If you cannot get it to work with another computer, then we still will not definitely know if it is the printer or the printer driver (the second computer could also have printer driver installation problems). If you cannot get it to work with another computer, then the only way than I can think to test if it is the printer vs. printer driver is to take it back for a replacement or get a replacement under warranty and see if the new printer works. If a new printer works, then it was the printer. If a new printer does NOT work, then that would seem to confirm an issue with the printer driver. The only other way that I can think to test it would be to use a completely different computer that uses a drastically different printer driver...i.e. maybe a Mac.
