Battlefied 2 issues

Hi,


I'm having some disturbing issues with my PC-games in the Battlefield 2 serie. First I had some launching issues with BF2 and couldn't patch it either. Now that is fixed after a lot of work. Now when I'm trying to install the expansion set something is going on. First when I'm going to install Battlefield 2: Special Forces it says it will patch it to version 1.1. The thing is that I already have patch 1.41 so it fails to install, it says: "Update failed". However, it manages to install the game but when I'm about to start it there comes an error message. "mods/bf2/shaders/lightning.fx could not be found". Anyone having an idea? Could have something to do with BF2 patch but I don't dare to touch cause I'm afraid of it will not work again.


I have played this expansion set earlier on the same computer but a crash forced me to an reinstallation of Win.


Please help me... so sick of this

Hi:

Just to get this squared away, are you installing the game from a Disk or did you download this off of the Internet?
