When I turned on my PC a few minutes ago, once every thing had booted and loaded, I recieved a notification from my antivirus(TrendMicro) that a Trojan had been blocked. This now makes me want to renew my subsription to TrendMicro when it expires in 2 1/2 months. As a note to anyone out there who needs a good, no, great security suite, I highly reccomend TrenMicro, since it is the only security software that has actually successfully blocked a virus from my PC. I've tried Norton, and from there McAffee, and while using them I recieved a total of three viruses over the course of 2 years. My advice: stay away from Norton and McAffee, use TrenMicro instead(which is a LOT cheaper than McAffee, Norton)

Thank you TrendMicro!

:D Hi Everyone :
The "Web Shield" of the FREE Avast Antivirus Home Edition does the same thing your
"pay-for-it" did ; Most likely many would prefer a FREE program over a "pay-for-it" program that
does the same thing !? Heard recently that Grisoft, the Makers of AVG products, recently bought
a company to provide similar coverage .

Hey Everyone! I tend to agree with Spirit, I have AVG free and it blocked a virus and a trojan in the time that it has been on my PC. I know that Spitit isn't in favor of ASQUARED but, it too came up at the same time as AVG to warn me about the same trojan. Both of these apps. are free.

I have TrendMicro too and I like it that it updates itself whenever it needs to. I'm glad that it blocked that Trojan for you, way to go!.
I recommended it to my son in AZ and I'm going to email him this thread, so he can read your good review. -----
