{size:16pt} {size}Generally speaking, Wii games will
be easier to pick up and play and will be quite fun, but its games are not as
sophisticated as the other ones. PS3 and XBox gives you better looking games
law, but whether they are more fun is very subjective.

PS3 is good if you can stand the noise{font:宋},{font}and is still too expensive.

XBox is good if you want to play more
mainstream games. To get online with XBOX, it is better and cheaper to pay for
a year subscription. They also throw in a free extra month.and everything has
been running smoothly since then.

Wii is good if you have kids and want to
play free online Wii is good if you have kids and want to play free online

it all comes down to how you plan to play the
console.

I don't know. I have two platforms. The PC and a PS2. I am currently up to my neck in Oblivion on the PC and FF XXII on the PS2. I was playing God of War on the PS2 but got stuck trying to get through a water filled place. My nephew has a PS3 and you are right about the games being pricey. I just got him one for Christmas and it was $60. They do look good though. I don't do the online games, never really had a desire to play online. Besides, my Nephew says I don't play well with others. :D coastie65

You can if you use emulators. They're choppy as hell, but hey at least they work.

Well, seeing as how I had to get that thing to keep my nephew entertained this summer when My PC was down, I guess I might as well use it myself, thus the God of War game that he WILL NOT PLAY as he is only 14. coastie65

What's wrong with God of war? (other than the goretastic graphics) I'm 15 and I've played god of war before it was alright. I prefer FPS or RTS games though.

hey avanish, Did you not see the nudity ? If was just the violence, I wouldn't mind my Nephew playing it, but that wasn't the only reason for the rating. There was that Nudity as well as some other stuff that you were probably unaware of and I'm not going into. :D Let's just say it wasn't appropriate for 14-15 yr. olds. coastie65

I don't own the game. I played it once at my friend's house so no. But if you go into any normal public high school, you'll see and hear ALOT of stuff not apropriate for any teenager. So it's nothing big (parents would freak if they saw that though)

Hi avanish, apparantly you didn't get that far into the game. It is rather short as far as games go and extremely linear. That having been said, The Witcher is even worse, and definately not for those under 18, if in fact you can even play it. It seems as though it is a crap shoot as to whether or not you you will be able to play the thing as it will play on some rigs, but more often than not, will not play on others. I have an 8400 GS card, and I was told by Atari that I matched up a "twenty five cent video card" with an otherwise good system and that is why the game wouldn't play. I payed $50 for the game and dumped it on Gamestop for $1.50, as they don't give much for PC games. I only had it for 3 weeks or so. As for game content, I think it is almost anything goes these days. That's Ok, as long as they rate them responsibly, and the parents monitor what the kids are playing. As for what goes on in the High Schools these days, I don't think it has changed all that much since I was in school, it just wasn't as prevalent or over the top. Also the teachers ruled and not the students. coastie65
