So, I was wondering what type/model of GPU(graphics card) everyone here at PCWorld has on their PC(or Mac) that they use the most often. I'm looking for the exact model, if possible.(e.g. Powercolor Radeon X800,PNY GeForce 8500GT, Integrated, etc.)
As for me, I have an EVGA GeForce 7950GX2 card, and I have another one on the way from Amazon B-)

At the moment, my new computer build has a MSI nVidia 8600GTS, but my new EVGA nVidia 8800GT has arrived and is just waiting to be installed.
My old Dell (P4) has a Radeon X800 SE in it. It has worked well, but is definitely long in the tooth. I will crack the Dell open and see if I think my power supply has enough juice and has a 6 pin power PCIe x16 power connector...if it does, then I might move the 8600GTS over to it when I take it out of the new build. Otherwise, the 8600GTS will be my "backup" video card in case some goes wrong with the 8800GT.

Hi knifeblade, seems like I'm always playing catchup. I think I've got it now though, at least for awhile. I'm thinking about one more move and that is the processor. I have a Pentium D 925 in here and am considering a 945 or 950 ( 3.4 Ghz ). I have seen a 960 ( 3.6 Ghz) , but for some reason intel doesn't even list it on their site. Just seeing what I can squeeze out of this ol eMachines. :^0 coastie65

Hi kcihtred2, I didn't know they were selling Graphics cards. Their biggest PSU was 300w and that was what came in this thing. I bought a 500w Antec Basiq for less than what they charged for a 300w PSU. You did the right thing by shopping around as you avoided the third party mark up. coastie65

I am using an PCI-Express Asus Nvidia Geforce 6200SE TurboCache with 64 MB integrated. With the TC feature, it can utilize an additional 192 MB of system RAM for graphics purposes.
Its abit old considering the latest 8800 series from Nvidia but its still able to play the latest games at minimum settings. Of course Crysis and some "high-end" games are exceptions.
