Hi GauteHauk,Thanks so much for your suggestion! I am absolutely open to adding new forums when there is enough discussion to warrant it. That was always my intention -- to start with this list, and expand it as we discover new topics that a lot of you are interested in.For now, please do post all your tablet-related questions and discussions here in the Laptops forum, and let's revisit the issue in a little while. Thanks again and welcome to the forums.

Personally, I think one community that is still growing and needs a place to help it grow is not represented here. I know they're technically laptops, but I think Tablet PCs deserve their own forum section. I may be wrong, but that's my opinion. Would help make things cleaner in the laptop forums, anyway.Besides, I don't see enough information or support for tablets. As if people want them to go away. They're more useful than simple laptops and are more versatile, so I think they're the way laptops need to go.Anyone else feel the same?

Oh, certainly. Sorry, I just think it's harder to get conversation on tablets going when there's no dedicated area for it. At least, I think that's often the case.I'm no forum mod, though.:>

I agree with you, but having a long list of forums with highly segmented topics and a small amount of traffic looks less busy, and therefore less appealing. People are more likely to visit and comment in places that look busy.If you'd like to start a tablet thread, simply press the New Topic button at the top and bottom of each forum page, and have at it! If labeled clearly, anyone who is interested in talking about tablets should be able to find it.
