Went to the mall and the grocery store about 10 AM. Walked out and there was a little snow and sleet falling. it picked up by the time I got to the mall. My Sister and Mother went to Sears as my Mother had something to exchange. I walked down to GameStop, as I had a $50 Gift card. I wasn'y planning on getting anything as there was nothing out that i wanted or didn't already have for the PS3. I knew that Sacred 2 was out for the PC and was coming this month for the consoles. I had already played through Sacred and its expansion, Sacred Underworld. I ended up getting a PS2 Original version that had been refurbished, so I could finish the PS2 Games I had started. When I left the Mall, it was raining and about 35 degrees, and now the sun is out.

Hey Tech !!

Yeah , if you could divert some of that Hot Air up North I would be

very grateful LOL! But, it better be soon because tonight , they are

predicting -25C . That's -13F. Now it's time to stoke the fireplace.

The wood is already in the basement so , I'll start it around 6 or 7

toninght . A couple of 24 inch logs should last till morning. The air tight

fireplace was a really good idea and don't regret putting it in.

Hey coastie !!

It sounds like you are keeping busy with all of the games you play.

It also sounds like you have a hard time just looking instead of

buying LOL !

Wish we had some rain too but, at these temperatures , it will be

a few months before we any od the wet stuff. It is Snowing at the

moment.

My youngest was supposed to have supper with us tonight but , just

called and said that she is stuck at her friends place. There is a 30

car pile up in Gatineau on the Quebec side of the fence. I asked her if

she doesn't feel confident in making the drive back , to stay at her

friend's place until things die down. Knowing her , she will probably

try and get here for supper. I just hope I won't have to drive over and pull

her out of a wreck somewhere. KIDS !

Hey Flash, :^0 Actually, I have spending so much time here on the forum, I haven't really done much gaming. After some research, I determined that sony had removed some hardware from the PS3 related to the Backwards compatibility with PS2. This was done to cut production costs. I had a $50 gift card that I got for Christmas, so got the PS2. It is one of the big originals ( not the slimline). I'll be able to finish some of the stuff I had started. I wasn't going to buy any games any when I went in anyway. That gives me three platforms to game on. :p

Hey Tech, Nope. I didn't get anymore games, got plenty. I ended up getting a replacement for my busted PS2, so I can play the games I have. The snow turned to rain while I was in the mall. It has cleared off and is nice and sunny.

Those are the drawbacks of being a Mod, eh? However, you can be here as much or as little as you want... like some of the other Mods do.

We had rain! Yep, it rained earlier today, and it was kind of nice hearing the rain fall on the roof. Then, things cleared up and the sun came out for a couple of hours.

Right now is 53 degrees but it feels colder than that. It's going to be in the low 30s throughout the night.

Well, I get my coffee and decide to check my box and see what is piled up in there and take care of it. Then it looks like it is non stop. In the breaks, I read the paper and do the crosswords puzzles. It has been a little slow the past day or so and got in a little Uncharted on the PS3. Now I've replaced the busted PS2, plus the games I have for the PC, I guess I'm go to go game wise.

This morning when I got up at 7:30 am, it was 29 degrees. It stayed cold all morning, but the sun came out this pm and it turned out to be a beautiful day.

Right now is 7:42pm and it's already 38 degrees.

I know Flash is probably shaking his fist at me and saying .....

Right now it is a mixture of sun and clouds and about 47 degrees. They say that Robins are the harbinger of spring. I looked out this morning and the yard was full of Robins. They had been absent for quite some time. I even noticed a Cardinal. Bit surprising to see the birds back.

The Robins are back... that's great.

This morning when I got up around 7:15 it was 26 degrees! An hour later when I was having breakfast it was only 27! It seems like every year is been getting colder and colder.

Right now it's 48 degrees, and we expect another cold night again. I'm sure glad I put my extra down throws on my bed, so now I have 1 down blanket and 2 down throws on top of that.

So much for global warming huh? Right now it is overcast and about 51 degrees. The temp is supposed to start falling this afternoon and tomorrow is promising a sloppy wintry mix of rain, sleet, & snow. The temp is supposed to remain in the 30's.

Well it looks as if we dodged a bullet. We will get a cold rain, but thankfully no frozen stuff. Hmmm, maybe the robins were right the other day, it was time to come back home. I can't remember seeing a robin before early March.

Right now it is a heavy overcast, damp and about 34 degrees and raw outside. Have some rain on the way, although we've had a few light showers off & on.
