Right now it is about 33 degrees and getting a little light snow. The overcast is somewhat broken and there is the slightest amount of sunshine to go with it. coastie

Well, we finally had some rain!!! It started last week and we've had some rain also this week already.

Today is a gorgeous day, but it's not going to last. I was just watching the News and they expect a lot of rain in the next few days, enough to cause flooding in some places.

Meh... I wish the weather would get it together, know what I mean? :p

I've been following that. Looks like a prettypotent storm coming in off the Pacific. As for Elephants, had some of those tromping through town yesterday ( Ringling Bros. is in town). We are getting dry out here. No major problem as yet, although we have been under red flag warnings in the past week. What little rain we,ve gotten has been light and one trace snowfall that was gone shortly after the sun hit it.

We had a nice day today, in the low 60s with no rain. I think they said it'll start raining again soon.

21 below??? OH MY GAWD, that's really, REALLY cold!

We had a break from the rain for the past couple of days. Today was actually very nice, in the low 60s. Rain will be starting again this weekend, I think. Oh well.

Been somewhat cloudy and breezy and WARM ( Tshirt weather ). It is about to go downhill though. They are looking for 6 inches of snow in Atlanta over the weekend, but not up here. We are expecting a cold rain or mixed precip. Maybe some flurries Monday. Should have gone and got my haircut today, but didn't so guess I'll go tomorrow. It is still somewhat warm out ( about 58 degrees ).

That's not cold. That's INSANE! At that temp, even the Polar Bears are looking for a place to plug in their electric blankets.

I haven't been paying much attention to the weather. My siser has been calling off and on all morning and my mother had me dig out the snow shovel. I guess my sister has been listening to some obscure weather forecasts again. The Weather Channel forecast is for Snow Monday though, with a high of 36 degrees. I haven't been putting much stock in those things of late.

Hey Tech, Doing Ok I guess. House seems a bit empty without Andy. Enjoy the warm ( yeah, 66 is warm as we had that and more yesterday). rg won't be so warm either, once that front goes through there.

Just got an update. They are now calling for 5'' to 8" of snow for Monday. My brother in Va. Beach, called and said they were now calling for up to 12" down there. I think I'll take all of it with a grain of salt as it will probably turn out to be nothing as is usually the case.

Interesting - tonight's low is supposed to be 52F (currently 63F), but tomorrows high? Also 52F! Tomorrow night's low is 32F.
