Its below zero again. Got no water to the house
That's a real pain. Down here in south Georgia, most who are on a well have outside storage tanks. If it gets cold enough the little pipe to the pressure switch will freeze and then no water. However, we just normally have to wait a few hours and then when the sun hits it, we have water again. Usually if it's going to be below 25F, then I will turn off the power and drain the tank (after filling up water jugs of course). Then aroung 10 or so when the temp is back above 32F, I just close the drain valve and turn on the power.
Don't want you to feel too bad, but we have had beautiful spring weather, highs in the lower to mid 70's and low in the high 40's. Last snow on the ground was 1989 at Christmas time. (Lasted on the ground about 4 hours - police dept was overwhelmed with all the wrecks on the street).

Hey Adama, Yeah, the snow is long gone as it got warm in a hurry. We had nighttime lows near the single digit mark on Monday and Tuesday nught and the Twenties on Wednesday night. After that the temp shot up and the snow left in a hurry. Right now it is still in the upper 70's with a lot of sunshine. Place really feels empty without Andy, and I know he would have looking for his blow (fan) with these temps.

We've been having a few really beautiful days. It's been cold though, as we had snow on the nearby hills for a couple of days, so there's a strong chill in the air.
This morning it was 36 when I booted my laptop around 8:30am... and right now is 63 and sunny. Yay! I love sunny days. :)

I think spring id finally here to stay. We've reached the point where the jet stream is carrting most of the storms to the north of the SF bay area and it gets chilly in the morning but gets to the high 60's in the afternoon. Will be getting into the 70's tomorrow with no rain in the seven day forcast. Spring has sprung.
