What do you think will be announced at Macworld? I'm thinking the rumors of movie rentals and new laptops are reasonable, but i'm wondering if there's something bigger since Apple made the non-consumer announcements last week. The company must be clearing the way for something big. What do you think?

I think that it will be a multi-subject keynote.

We will hear about the new rental strategy, and potentially a new AppleTV that is wi-fi enabled to the internet and can download content direct from iTunes without going through the computer first. Maybe that's just a software update to the existing AppleTV, though. Don't forget that there's also the unused USB port in the back of the AppleTV, so maybe the rental box connects through that.

I think we will have an iPhone software update with new features. I think the SDK will be discussed, but in a consumer oriented way. Less about the guts of the SDK and more about what can be done with it -- what kind of apps to expect. I also don't think a 16GB iPhone is out of the question.

I hope that there is a refresh to the MacBookPro line. Because I really want to get one, and have been waiting for a while for Expo to be over. :) I think that they will get Blu-Ray drives, be thinner and get a bump in speed.

I don't think that they will touch the iPod line, having just refreshed them.

I think the Apple Cinema Display monitors are due for a refresh, with built in iSight cameras.

I'm excited to see what actually happens!
