Hi aurora, That's a good picture. As for me, I wouldn't even dare. One day of Halloween per year is enough. !http://forums.pcworld.com/legacyimages/

Hi Titole, I don't know what the deal is. I didn't see any mention of the VIrgin Islands being left out, which is also part of the US, as well as Samoa, Guam, The Mariannas, and Midway Island. What you said about Dell and shipping Technology, South America was never on the banned list as far as I know, and for someone to place Puerto Rico in South America, just shows the ignorance of some folks. I have been to Roosevelt Roads, and the last I heard Puerto Rico was actually part of the Antilles. Big difference. My guess is that, it is limited to North America ( Excluding the Province of Quebec) for shipping reasons. coastie65

Hi rtfire, I saw a picture of that thing. If your hair is anywhere near the color of that monster, there is no way you could get lost in a crowd. :^0 coastie65

Dream PC it is, the OS is a little confusing I understand that being Windows Vista Ultimate 64 Edition to handle the 8 gigs of Ram, and I undertand the hours to test a 64bit os with that hardware, but what's up with Windows XP SP2 did not say 64 bit, so is it in a VM and if so did not see the VM software being used. But Wow what a machine. And the Software Adobe Master Collection CS3 not sure if I would be gaming or producing movies more on it :)

The burners are listed in the parts list, 2 LG Super Multi GGW-H10NI. These are older models. I think they got picked because they can play back blu-ray and hd/dvd as well as burn blu-ray. IMHO- They should consider going with a blu-ray only solution because the format war is pretty much over. This way they can get a much faster, cheaper, newer burner.

Some of you are happy about the contest and some of you are very ungrateful people. I think PCWorld should pull these ungrateful people out of the contest...They could have just been giving away a free issue of last years PCWorld mag...By the way, I fall under the grateful ones. Windows XP SP2 in case something you want to run, won't under Vista. No virtual machine, but that doesn't mean you can't remove it from the hard drive and run it in one if you wish.

Cheers, Jon

Wacom! That's a good idea. I'll add that to the list. Model suggestions? :)
