I have a PC at home that I have XP, Vista Ultimate 64 & Unubtu installed on. I have two startup screens (Ubuntu then windows). The first I have Windows set as default, the second one set to XP as default. I have had no problems with this setup and all of the OS's run on their own hard drives. My previous PC had all 3 installed also but they shared a hard drive (750 GB Seagate) and they co-existed with no problems. So yes you can have multiple OS's on your computers and all I used the the boot loaders from Ubuntu & Vista with some editing.
It seems to me that Vista 32 is not one I want to use since I already have a 32 bit OS that is stable & runs all of my gaming software. But Vista 64 was an easy install and I had no problems getting drivers for it from the web. Now if I could only talk she who must be obeyed into letting me get another 4 GB. Well I can dream can't I.

The trouble is that you can't take the money (even if they offered) because the money doesn't exist. Do you really think PC World is paying real money for this?
I am sure the companies are getting something out of it... Probably not more than the free advertising this lands them though. I suspect that's why the final parts list is not finalized... They are not 100% sure who is really going to deliver... They probably have good faith agreements on some of the parts for example, rather than firm commitments.
That doesn't reduce the value any... It probably would cost $35,000 if you bought everything at full retail value... Maybe $20,000 if you shop online. And you could probably sell it pretty easily for $10,000.. Or even part it out and sell it for $15,000+ on eBay. But that wouldn't be nice... It would probably make the people at PC World very sad.
