Hi Folks,
I'm Bill G. I won the Dream PC back in April, A PC World Writer Mr. Ramon G. (Bud) McLeod
Editor, PCWorld.com, was going to write a pice about the win but never did why your guess is as good as mine, maybe he dosn't figure giving away 32K worth of PC Equipment is worth printing (go figure) Atleast my local paper did.
I have the PC and no I haven't used it or set it up , I had just bought a new Cyberpower not 3 weeks prior to winning the contest so I have decided to donate most of the PC stuff ( come on I'm not going to giveup all that good stuff . The PC is going to go to the Yukon Quest International Sled dog Race, to help raise funds, they are going to raffle it off some time in the future, so there you go the famous PC World Dream PC is going to the Dogs Posted Image.
If anyone is interested maybe I can ask them to put some tickets up for sale on line, who knows for a few bucks you can have a second chance, and don't say I never win I Won. Just let me know if any of you might be interested.
Ok that's about it from uphere in Alaska, and it's pretty obvious I really suck as a writer Posted Image, www.yukonquest.com/ Just in case your interested in Sled Dogs.
You all take care

Bill G.

Maybe next time, PCWorld will make a less expensive PC that someone may be able to actually use. If there is a next time, that is.

The PC that we sent was perfectly usable. I'm not sure what you mean by implying that it wasn't.

I simply meant that, with something that expensive maybe some people would not even dare touch it. Nothing more than a lighthearted comment. :D

Yea, I think the guy drove himself crazy trying to dual boot it and getting things to work with XP and Vista x64. I would have settled in with just running everything under Vista and rockin and rolling with it, sure someone is happy with it right now.

I'm not sure why anyone would not have touched that PC if they had won it. If that would have been mine I'd be enjoying it right now.

Hmmm Actually, no. It's going to be raffled off in a contest, at least, that's what the winner said in his last post.

SORRY KELLIE,

I in no way ment to imply that the Pc I won didn't work, It looks great in real life, and the only reason I havn't used it, is that I need a tax writeoff more than I do a PC of this caliber. and if I did use it I wouldn't want to give it up.

The PC is going to the Yukon Quest SledDog Race, They are going to raffle it off to help with the race expences, that's why I said that the PC was going to the dogs, sleddogs get it :D ok bad joke.

Again Very sorry about the mixup,

Bill G. :|
