Hi SBHarrison and welcome to PCWorld :-)
I have no idea what issue that article was printed; however, here are the steps to disable the Send Error Report:
- Open Control Panel
- Click on System
- Click on the Advanced tab
- Click on the Error-Reporting button on the bottom of the window
- Select Disable error reporting
- Click OK twice to close the windows
(You can also get to this same window by Right Clicking on My Computer and selecting Properties )
