My first thought was 1980 in Lake Placid, then I remembered watching one from Squaw Valley Calf in I think 1960 as it was the same year my baby brother was born. coastie65 !http://forums.pcworld.com/legacyimages/

Ignore me. I was thinking there had been an earlier Olympics in Lake Placid. When I was in school, the family went on Vacation one Summer and spent a week in Lake Placid, as my dad had an old shipmate that had a big Hotel in Lake Placid and I thought I remembered seeing some stuff from it while there. I do remember seeing the ski jumps sans snow and that freezing cold lake in July. coastie65

Kellie, if the Forum ever goes with a Real-Time chat, this would be a nice little game to play.

Hey mph, This post just showed three times in my inbox. I don't know about about real time chat as this site is still slow as molasses. Sometimes it clicks along, but most times it takes forever to access anything. coastie65

LOL Hi Coastie. Yes, the system spit out three posts. I deleted the other two already. Maybe I should have said, "When all the bugs are knocked out..." :D
