I have never heard of that. Do you mean the Mickey Mouse Club song "M I C (See you real soon)"?
The way I learned how to spell Mississippi originated from my mother, who is Jamaican. When I went to college, I realized that this same iambic pentameter was common in the south as well.

This is a trick question.
If Easternmost means closest to the left of the median, then its Sail Rock (in Maine) 66? 56' 52.08"W.
If Easternmost is the most degrees East, then its Semisopochnoi Island, Alaska 179?46'E.
And for the record, I am not trivia enough to know all this. Of the top of my head. Real time is better for this type of thing.

Hi yert, You were right, it was a trick question. If you noticed, I said the U.S. NOT the 48 contiguous States so you were right on both counts. To be more precise it is Pochnoi Point on Semeipochnoi Island, Alaska. It is in the Eastern Hemisphere, so technically the furthest point East. It is at the end of the Aleutians. I believe the other location is at West Quoddy Head Maine. coastie65
